Hi, I’m Marcia Smart. I can't wait to meet you "in person", but until then, here's a little more information about me. I'll try not to sound like one of those "Happy Holidays" annual letters! .

With many years experience in the redesign/design industry, I've just about seen it all, and am confident I'll be able to help you with any of your decorating needs!

Hope you had a chance to see me on Channel 7 News, when I was featured on Rick Romero's "Consumers Reports" segment.  The Redesign was a huge success and Rick had fun as a "hands-on" assistant!

Considered a leading interior redesign expert, I have been quoted in numerous periodicals and been a featured guest on Radio programs around the country, including Martha Stewart Living SIRIUS 112. My work has also been highlighted in Sunset, the Magazine of Western Living, Entrepreneur Startups and Decorating Spaces magazine.

I love to "talk a lot" and have also been a featured speaker for many businesses, clubs and organizations and regularly conduct workshops for the Ventura County Adult Education system.  In addition, I am a member of the California Women's Business Organization and the American Business Women's Association. My business has also been recognized in the “Honors Edition” of the Manchester Who’s Who Among Executive and Professional Women 2006/2007 registry.

Nationally:

I am proud to be founding member and past Executive Director of the foremost International Redesign organization Interior Redesign Industry Specialists (I.R.I.S.), where I am also a contributing author of the popular anthology book “IRIS in the House”. 

You may have seen me on two segments of the HGTV program “Decorating Cents” (episodes 1103 & 1106) or giving an in-store demo, when I acted as  spokesperson for Linens ‘N Things' national “Get Inspired” grand opening campaign.

As a certified seminar leader, and member of the American Seminar Leader's Association (ASLA) and an Education Affiliate of the Association of Design Education, I have the privilege of conducting professional interior redesign training seminars and decorating workshops throughout the country.

Having achieved the designation of Accredited Home Staging® Professional™, I offer homeowners the best home staging service possible to prepare their home for sale.

On a personal note:

I embrace the fact that each one of us is unique and I believe that your home should be a reflection of who you are, what you like and where you have been in life! 

Oh sure, thinking about redecorating your home can give you a real migraine….but relax!  No matter what your redesign needs, we always start by using what you already have and building from there! 

You deserve to have that well-decorated look for your home. Through the magic of Interior Redesign, I have found that everyone’s home has the potential to do just that!!
